The story of Jesus being horrifically beaten for my sins is always hard to hear. It is even harder to watch re-enactments of the event that you know are no way presented to their furthest example. God sent his one and only son to die for me; just a common man. A man that spent the first 30 years of his life dismissing the fact that God even existed. A man that spent the first 30 years of his life doing good things and being a good person in every way. A man that was lost and never realized it. Coming to Christ as an adult is a precious thing although not the recommended path it was the path I was lead down.
I am grateful to the Lord for bringing me to my Church home. I grateful to the Lord for the chance to use the talents he gave me to serve and glorify him. I am thankful that I can now witness to the world that a man you do not know died over 2000 years ago for everyone of us and he loves you even if you do not know it.
