Food Distribution
This afternoon we traveled to a village on the outskirts of San Pedro and handed out bags of rice, beans, oil and coffee. Here is how one of our youth put this experience into words…
Hello…today we went out to a village where it’s not the nicest place but there is hope. Today when we were handing out food and Johnna Gaunch saw a house with flowers out front. All the rest of the town looked and did not feel any hope yet. I hope God will reach the rest of them. Another thing was when we were passing out Frisbees a kid read the back of one and it talked about being saved and what JESUS did for us. He went and talked to the pastor’s son and prayed a prayer to ask Jesus in his heart. I think that he is some hope in that town.
Thank you for reading this.

Let the pictures say the rest…

This is the boy who prayed to receive Christ after reading the Frisbee! PTL!
Thanks for your prayers! We will update again tomorrow.

My heart is humbled tonight as I look at the pictures of the food distribution. We are so blessed in the USA, and we often forget or take it for granted. To see the smiles on the faces of the people as stand in doorways of metal siding “houses” and receive a simple bag of groceries simply overwhelms me. Kids (or should I say “teens”), I am so proud of you for your service to God and others. I know how hard you worked selling pans, having rummage sales and spaghetti dinners. The money you worked to raise helped purchase that frisbee that led this boy to the Lord. His life will never be the same, and neither will your lives.
