Our Thursday in the DR

On Thursday we played basketball with some local Dominican residents! Starting a game wasn’t too hard because in the Dominican Republic they love basketball!! We played a couple of pickup games…in most cases it was Dominicans vs. Americans. After a couple of hours of playing we gathered up with all the people that were playing and Paul spoke to the people through Gary Hale, our translator. Overall this experience was really fun because we got to play a game we all love and spread the word of god at the same time.

Sharing the plan of salvation after the game...they were all ears!

Tonight after dinner we went and watched an American boxing ministry “Jabbin For Jesus” box against a Dominican club in Boca Chica. We lost the fight night 4-3. The amazing thing though is at intermission when the gospel was given almost the entire set of Dominican fans raised their hands to show that they had accepted Jesus. The Holy Spirit worked in a big way tonight.

Friday was a day of fun in the sun. We went snorkeling and play on a beautiful beach on Catalina Island. It was a very fun and relaxing day that was an incredible bonus to the trip.

Finally Home!!!
As I am posting this, we are all in our homes from a long day of travel. What a wonderful week of ministry and fun we have had together. We look forward to telling you more about our trip in the days to come. Thanks for being part of this through you support and prayers each day. To God be the Glory!

Welcome home team. You have been a blessing to many people in both the Dominican Republic and the United States.
