Pea Ridge Baptist Church

The parking lot and the pews were full on Sunday, March 21st as Pea Ridge Baptist Church celebrated it’s annual Preschool Sunday. Heather Blake, Preschool Director remarked,  “It was a True Success!”  Nearly Fifty children and their families attended the 11:15 church service that Sunday.  The children were dressed in their personal best as they performed several songs of worship for the congregation.  It was obvious that the staff put in extra hours of hard work teaching the children the words to the songs and the adorable motions.  Smiles could be seen on the faces of the parents and members alike.  Immediately following the service, the Preschool Staff served a delicious spaghetti dinner to approximately 300 and raised $2,050.00, graciously meeting the Director’s goal of $2K.  This is the Preschool’s major fundraiser each year, noted Mrs. Blake, who was appreciative of everyone’s participation:  “We could not have pulled off this event without the preschool families, the church and staff.  I personally would like to say thank you to all of you and pray that the love and generosity comes back to you doubly.”
