Students

Middle and high school students gather each week on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. They meet in the youth room, located on the first floor of the education building.

During the Sunday school hour at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, our students are led by two of our deacons who share from the Word.

On Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., students come together as The Crew, led by Jason Hanshaw and Nikki Stark. Jason and Nikki have a passion for student ministry and seek to help our students grow as they apply the Word to their lives and reach out to their friends with God’s truth and love. The Crew loves to have fun together as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Children

Our children’s ministry, called Ridge Kids, is a growing ministry that connects with children and makes the Bible come alive! On Sunday mornings, our children gather in Sunday school classes at 9:30 a.m. to learn and apply God’s Word in a fun and engaging way. Our teachers love children and prepare each week to share God’s love with them.

After Sunday school, children come together at 10:45 a.m. for a time of worship and Bible teaching that takes them into the Scriptures and gives them lessons they can use in their lives each day.

On Sunday mornings, Ridge Kids meets on the second floor of the education building. We have a welcome station where you will enter basic contact information and check your child into the ministry using our computerized check-in system. This same system will be used to check your child out when you come to pick them up.

Wednesday evenings are full of fun and Bible truth as our kids come together for Good News Club, which meets in the fellowship hall on the first floor of the worship building. This is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship and is led by our team of staff and volunteers. From 6:30 to 8 p.m., kids enjoy music, memory verse, Bible lesson, games, small group and snack time, all centered on a common theme.

Cross Crew Sundays

Our church family is committed to serving our community in a way that openly demonstrates Christ’s love. Part of this effort is Cross Crew Sunday, a day set aside for completing projects for those in need in our area. Some projects are focused on repairing or improving homes, some are meant to bless missions organizations in our region, and others seek to encourage those who need to know someone cares.

We normally schedule one Sunday in the spring and one in late summer or early fall. We gather at the church campus for breakfast, fellowship, a brief devotion and prayer, and then we scatter with our teams to complete these projects and bless others. Each team has a project leader and a spiritual leader to ensure we stay focused on the task and on Christ.

Child Enrichment Program

Pea Ridge Baptist Church is the home of the Pea Ridge Baptist Child Enrichment Program.

Our program is deeply committed to the goal of providing children with a loving environment in which they can grow and learn.  Our program is designed to further your child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development through guided play and activities. Your child will be exposed to letters, numbers, shapes and colors in a variety of activities which will prepare them for their first year of school.

Our goal is to motivate and teach your child to share, take turns, get along with peers, follow directions and rules, listen attentively to others, express ideas in both small and large groups, be creative, try new things and feel good about one’s self. Emphasis will be placed on moral and spiritual development through activities based on Bible stories, themes, characters and through the memorization of related Bible verses.  We hope these Bible experiences will help set the tone for a healthy, positive view of life and will contribute to the total development of your child.
