Pastor Greg has served as pastor of Pea Ridge Baptist Church since March 2002. During his ten years of ministry at Pea Ridge, the church as continue to grow, both spiritually and in numbers. He has helped to focus the congregation around their mission, seeing the great responsibility to move beyond the walls of the church into the community and the world to share the love of Jesus Christ.
A native of Huntington, Pastor Greg has been involved with American Baptist Churches all his life, as his father held pastorates in various locations in West Virginia for nearly 40 years. Greg is a graduate of Marshall University and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also a graduate of the Center for Excellence in Congregational Leadership in Green Lake, WI. In addition to his 13 years as a Senior Pastor, Greg has served as a hospital chaplain, as Minister of Mission Support for the West Virginia Baptist Convention and a Director for the Continental Singers, formally of Thousand Oaks, CA.
Pastor Greg has traveled throughout the world on various mission projects, including 13 trips to Ryazan, Russia where he has given leadership in building a partnership between churches in Ryazan and West Virginia. Pastor Greg loves to read, has become an avid runner in the past three years and enjoys time with his family. He resides in Barboursville, WV with his wife, Leigh Ann, and their three sons.
