Restored Hearts
What is our mission as followers of Christ? It starts with a simple but profound calling from Matthew 28:19-20 -- go and make disciples of all nations.
But before we can make disciples, we have to be disciples. A disciple is someone whose life is focused on being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did. That journey begins with a response to the Gospel, a new identity in Christ, and staying rooted in Him daily (John 15:4-5).
Discipleship is not a solo journey. It means loving God and loving people (Matthew 22:37-39), and investing in the lives of those around us just as Paul urged Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2.
What needs to change for you to prioritize your walk with Jesus? Join us as we explore what it means to live out this mission together at Pea Ridge.
Jesus, our new Joshua, leads us into a rest that began at creation and will be fulfilled in the new creation. Total trust in God drives out fear and opens us to His ways of justice and love.
Every day is a new opportunity. Will you enter His rest?
