When life gets comfortable, we tend to forget the wilderness. We forget the hard seasons where God met us, provided for us, and taught us to trust Him completely. But those wilderness moments were never meant to be erased from our memory—they were meant to transform us.

God warned Israel in Deuteronomy 8:12-14 that prosperity can be dangerous. When we build beautiful houses, when our bank accounts grow, when everything increases, our hearts can become proud. We start believing we did it ourselves. We forget the One who brought us through every difficult season.

The wilderness teaches us that true freedom is relying fully on God to provide all we need for a fulfilling life. Don't let comfort steal your memory of God's faithfulness. Instead, when you eat and are full, bless the Lord your God. Remember who brought you through. Keep His words in your heart and share them with others.
