Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Jesus set an amazing example for us as he served others. At Pea Ridge, we strive to follow that example as we seek to serve in a variety of ways. You are invited to use the gifts and talents that God has given you to further His kingdom. Whether it's greeting others through our first impressions team, working with kids or teens, using musical talent on our worship team, serving on a leadership team or a variety of other avenues ... God desires to work in and through you to glorify Him and bless others!

How do I volunteer?

Your first step is contacting us, which you can do by using the link below, calling our office at 304-736-5572 or following the information listed for specific ministries on this page. We will get to know you a little better and help you in your next steps towards serving in our local church.

How do I volunteer with music?

One of the ways we worship each Sunday is through music, and if you are gifted in vocals or instruments you are encouraged to contact our worship director, Luke Creasy. We typically have several vocalists who blend their voices each Sunday and a band that includes piano, guitars and drums.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Our kids ministry meets Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Contact our children/family director, Gage Ross and let him know you're interested in working with kids. He will get to know you and walk you through the next steps of becoming a kids ministry volunteer.

How do I volunteer with youth?

Youth ministry is an important part of our local church and our group meets each Wednesday evening. Gage Ross is your starting point for working with our teens. Contact him to set up a time to talk and find out how God can use you to invest in the lives of our middle and high school students.

How do I volunteer with first impressions?

Our first impressions ministry is all about making people feel welcome on Sunday mornings and helping them find what they need. Before the pandemic we had a coffee and snack cart and as soon as it's safe to restart that effort, we will! For now, we make sure we safely greet people, lead them to a seat, invite them to complete a connection card and help them with details about ministries and facilities.
