When we meet

Sundays at Pea Ridge

Sunday Morning

10:45 a.m.

Kids start in the service, worshiping with their families. After we sing and pray together, they head out with our leaders for a Bible lesson on their level and time to ask questions. Preschool and elementary each have their own class.

Sunday Evening

5:30 - 8 p.m.

We start with dinner together in the fellowship hall at 5:30 and worship as a church family at 6:30. At 7, kindergarten through 5th grade head upstairs to the kids' room to dig into God's Word and play games together. Pickup is at 8.

Birth - Age 3

Nursery

A safe, caring space for our littlest ones, staffed by trusted volunteers so parents can worship with peace of mind.

Ages 3 - 5

Preschool

Bible stories and hands-on play that help preschoolers learn that God made them and loves them.

K - 5th Grade

Elementary

Kids dig into God's Word and talk through what it means to follow Jesus at home and at school.

What to expect

Every volunteer who serves with kids is background checked.
Two volunteers are with kids at all times.
Check-in tags make sure the right adult picks up every child.
  1. Register your kids. Before the service, take a few minutes to register your children. You can also walk them to their class and register there, then head back to the service. Look for the kids table in the lobby.
  2. Worship together. Kids sit with you for the start of the service. After the greeting, they meet our leaders at the sanctuary door and go to class.
  3. Communion Sundays. On the first Sunday of each month, kids can take Communion in their class with a parent or guardian's approval.
  4. Sunday evenings. Park out back and come in through the fellowship hall door in the courtyard for dinner at 5:30. Kids finish the night in the kids' room upstairs, and that's where you'll pick them up at 8 p.m.

Thursday, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Barboursville Farmers Market. Costumes welcome! Want to decorate a trunk? Watch for the sign-up sheet.

Children's Fall Rally

Elementary only. A day trip to Parchment Valley Conference Center in Ripley. $10 per child, lunch included.

NOV22

Friendsgiving & Movie Night

Sunday, 5:30 p.m. A Thanksgiving dinner, then a short outdoor movie. Bring blankets, chairs, and a friend!
