Why We Thank God: A Kids Bible Lesson on Psalm 100
We’re kicking off our new reading plan, God I’m Grateful! Today we read Genesis 1 and Psalm 100 and talk about why we say thank you to God, even when He already knows we’re thankful. Before we ever did anything, God was good to us first.
In our first ever Ask Pastor Dan, kids asked what animal God had the most fun making, and a big one: if God made everything very good, why isn’t everything good now?
This week’s challenge: every night before bed, tell God three things He gave you that day. Families, try the dinner table activity together, and talk about our car ride question: What’s something God gave you before you even asked for it?

Got a question for Pastor Dan? Have a grown-up send it in on our website, and we might answer it on the show.
