We seek to share Christ's love all year, but we do this in some special ways during the Christmas season. You can make sure a child receives gifts through our Elf Tree ministry, help provide a Christmas meal through our Food Basket ministry, and send gifts and the Gospel to kids around the world through Operation Christmas Child.
Our Elf Tree ministry provides Christmas gifts for children in our area who are in need. The Elf Tree will be up Sunday, October 31 and we encourage you to select a card from the tree and purchase the needed gift(s). Please return the purchased gifts, unwrapped, by Sunday, November 28. If you know of a child or family in our area that you would like to nominate for the Elf Tree, please contact the church office at 304-736-5572 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Christmas Food Baskets
As we did last year, we will be collecting monetary donations to purchase grocery gift cards for the food basket recipients instead of collecting food. This process was suggested by the volunteers at ECCHO and will allow us to continue blessing others at Christmas while keeping everyone safe. If you know of a family in our area that you would like to nominate for a food basket gift card, please contact the church office at 304-736-5572 or email@example.com.
Operation Christmas Child
Help share the message of the Gospel with children around the world by packing a shoebox for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child! This year we are collecting packed shoeboxes. All packed shoeboxes need to be turned in by Sunday, November 14. If you don’t have time or like to shop, you can build a shoebox online. For $25, which includes postage, you can customize your shoebox online or you can let Samaritan’s Purse build it for you. Simply tap/click on the link below to build a shoebox.
Please mark your monetary donations with “Christmas Missions” or select “Christmas Missions” when donating online or through our app.
