Annual Business Meeting - December 11

Please make plans to attend and participate in this important meeting. We will be voting on the 2023 budget, changes to the by-laws as well as the incoming officers and committee members. Visitors and regular attendees are welcome to attend and observe. Copies of the proposed budget and slate of officers and committee members will be available in advance of the meeting.

Join us for a fun evening of food, fellowship and a short devotion! Ham and drinks will be provided and everyone is asked to bring two dishes consisting of sides and/or desserts.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service - December 24, 6 p.m.

Because Christmas Day is on a Sunday this year, we are having a more comprehensive Christmas Eve service and will not gather on Christmas Day. The Christmas Eve Service will still include worship through music, lighting the Christ candle and reading the Christmas story with our children. However, this year there will be a more in depth Bible message. We will plan to finish no later than 7:15 p.m.

CHRISTMAS MISSIONS

Once again, we will be helping families in need at Christmas. Our Elf Tree ministry provides Christmas gifts for children in our area who are in need and our Christmas Food Basket ministry helps provide a Christmas meal to families who are in need. If you know of a child or family in our area that you would like to nominate for the Elf Tree or a Christmas food basket, please contact the church office.

Elf Tree

The Elf Tree is now up and we encourage you to select a card from the tree and purchase the needed gift(s). Please return the purchased gifts, unwrapped, by Sunday, December 11. 

Christmas Food Baskets

This year we will collect food to pack and distribute food baskets! A list of non-perishable food items will be published in a few weeks and food will be collected until Sunday, December 11. We also need monetary donations for the perishable food items that are purchased for the baskets including ham, eggs, milk and fresh fruit.

Operation Christmas Child

Help share the message of the Gospel with children around the world by packing a shoebox for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. This year we are collecting packed shoeboxes. All packed shoeboxes need to be turned in by Wednesday, November 16. 

You can also build a shoebox online at samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/buildonline/. For $25, which includes postage, you can customize your shoebox online or you can let Samaritan’s Purse build it for you.
