Ways to Serve

There are a variety of ways to serve the Lord here at Pea Ridge. While the list below isn't a complete list (God may inspire you to create something new), it does cover the major areas of service in our local church.

Media team: use technology to enhance our worship gathering. This includes audio, video, digital projection and lighting.

Welcome team: greet people as they enter the church building, serve coffee and snacks in the lobby, greet people as they enter the sanctuary and hand them a bulletin.

Ridge Kids team: work with children to care for them, teach them the Bible and have fun together! Sunday mornings from 11:15 a.m.-Noon and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m.

Youth team: work with teens to help them learn and apply Scripture, build friendships and have fun together! Teens meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m.

Worship team: use vocal and instrumental talents to lead our congregation in worshiping God through music. Practices take place on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings before the worship service.

Leadership teams: serve as a church council member, deacon, deaconess, trustee, missions committee member, hospitality committee member, auditing committee member, nominating committee member.

Small group leader: lead one of our small groups and help others grow in their faith. Coordinate and lead group discussion times. Bible commentary and discussion questions are provided and follow along with the current reading plan and sermon series.

Special event team: coordinate special ministry events that achieve our mission of making disciples!
