Christmas at Pea Ridge

Christmas Missions

Thank you for following God's leading to provide Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for children around the world, Christmas gifts for local children in need, and food gift cards for local families in need. You have demonstrated the heart of Jesus this Christmas!

Advent

Each Sunday, members of our congregation will light a candle and read about its meaning. This tradition helps us to stay focused on Christ as we count down to the celebration of our Savior’s birth. The Advent themes are hope, love, joy and peace.

Also new this year is a special focus on Advent for our Ridge Kids on Wednesday evenings! Some of our volunteers have created an Advent garland and each week the kids will add a panel until it is complete. The Bible lesson for each Wednesday will be connected to the panel the kids are receiving that evening.

Ridge Kids Christmas

Luke Creasy and Gage Ross are working together to plan a special time of worship led by our Ridge Kids on Sunday morning, December 19! Children who are singing in the worship choir should be at the church by 10 a.m. for one final rehearsal.

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve candlelight service will take place Friday, December 24 at 6 p.m. inside the sanctuary. Last year, Pastor Dan planned an outside service due to the Covid-19 pandemic and it was one to remember! However, this year we will meet in the warmth of the building. We will worship our Savior through music, light the Christ candle, Pastor Dan will read the Christmas story to our kids and we will close by singing Silent Night as the light of the Christ candle is shared with everyone throughout the room.
